Gdy Noomiy zaproponowała kolejny temat w ramach AJIS wiedziałam od razu co z tego będzie. Van Gogh należy do kanonu moich ulubionych artystów. Lubię go za to, że zaczął późno (dawało mi to zawsze nadzieję, że i ja mogę), za jego niesamowite podejście do malarstwa i to że wbrew ówczesnym standardom nie dbał o to by malunkiem pokryć równomiernie płótno. Mogłabym też powiedzieć, że czasem się z nim nieco utożsamiam. No i uwielbiam jego autoportrety i te smutne oczy…
When Noomiy proposed another topic for AJIS I knew what I'm going to make. Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. I like him because he started late (and it gives me hope that I can do it too), also his unique attitude toward art and the fact that he opposed the ways of painting and didn't cover evenly the whole canvas with paint. I could even say that I sometimes identify myself with him. And ofcourse I love his auto portraits and those sad sad eyes…
