Kiedyś książki czytałam wszędzie, stale i namiętnie. Potem jakoś się to urwało, a teraz jest już strasznie. Jestem tym statystycznym Polakiem co to może 3 książki rocznie czyta. I na nic moje chęci i starania. Biorę książkę do ręki, zapadam się na 20 minut w historię i nagle bum, sru, coś innego, coś ciekawszego… A potem taka nadgryziona książka leży i się kurzy, a ja po miesiącu sięgam po kolejną. Takich tomów mam już niezły stosik, albo i nie mam, bo podczas remontu wszystko posegregowałam ładnie na półkach. Ale staram się wrócić do nawyku czytania. Stan na lipiec to 3 statystyczne książki przeczytane i czwarta w trakcie, idzie więc nieźle. I aby to uczcić oto scrap z przesłaniem S. Kinga (którego osobiście jeszcze nie czytałam): "books are a uniquely portable magic"z czym zgadzam się w stu procentach.
Scrap powstał na bazie dwóch moich najulubieńszych kolekcji ILS mint i let it go. O genialności tego połączenia mówiła już kiedyś u siebie Nulka więc to połączenie nie jest żadną nowością, ale odkąd je zobaczyłam wiedziałam, że ja też tak chcę. No i stało się. Praca ta oczywiście jest już na blogu ILS gdzie, króluję dzisiaj ja :)
In the past I used to read a lot of books, always and everywhere. But it stopped, and nowadays my reading habit doesn't exist. I'm like a statistical Pole who reads 3 books a year. I tried hard, but every book I started reading landed on the pile of unfinished books after circa 20 minutes of reading. This pile was big and had to disappear during home renovation. Now all of the books are nicely stored on shelves. But I'm trying to be better, go back to reading. So far I'm within statistics - 3 books read, 4th in the process - and it's July now. SO far so good. And to celebrate this I made a scrap with S. King quotation (whom I do not read): "books are a uniquely portable magic". I Agree with this in one hundred percent.
The LO was made using two ILS collections mint and let it go. These two go together perfectly and I don't have to tell you about that. I saw this combination first on Nulka's blog and want to try it myself ever since. Now's the perfect time. Ofcourse the LO was made for my day on ILS blog cos' this is my day there :)
