Tym razem moja kolej na rzucenie dziewczynom journalowego wyzwania. Chciałam aby powiało trochę czymś orientalnym i niecodziennym, ale nie chciałam przekombinować. W końcu popatrzyłam na albumy na półce i stwierdziłam że Hokusai to jest to czego szukam. Ten pan był ponoć jednym z najpłodniejszych i najwybitniejszych malarzy japońskich. Tworzył w technice drzeworytu a słynie z serii poświęconych różnym spojrzeniom na Górę Fuji. Ja jednak rzuciłam na warsztat inne jego znane dzieło (na którym też odnajdziecie Fuji):
Today it's my turn to challenge girls with new journal topic. I wanted something oriental but not too sophisticated. I couldn'n find anything suitable until I looked on my album collection and there he was, Hokusai was who I looked for. This guy was probably one of the most prolific and great japanese artists. He created many pictures and is most known for his series depicting Fuji Mountain. But I wanted something else but equally well known. The Great Wave of Kanagawa (you can see the mountain in here as well).
Dla mnie temat wbzurzonego morza jest niepokojący. Drapieżna fala Hokusai kojarzy mi się z cała chmarą dziwnych myśli w mojej głowie, które czasem zalewają mnie jak fala i nie dają spokoju. Część tego bałaganu chciałam oddać na tej journalowej stronie.
For me there is something uneasy in troubled sea. The Hokusai wave seems almost raptorial and reminds me of all the weird thoughts that sometimes flood my mind. I was trying to pour some of these feelings on this page and although the colors are bright and nice I can feel the anxiety in this page.
